The RSA Fellowship Network is limited to ophthalmologists showing superior skills and promise. We reserve the right to leave positions unfilled in the event that enough qualified candidates are not identified.

Fellow Selection

Fellows are selected by participating preceptors. Applicants who complete the Application Form will be referred to the appropriate preceptors. Applications will be qualified for consideration based on meeting the training requirements and completion of the application.

Financial Obligations of the Fellow/Associate

~ TRAINING: Both US and non-US sites are participating. Applicants to US Host Sites for the RSA Fellowship Program should have completed (or be scheduled to complete) an AUPO approved ophthalmic residency program. In general, residency programs accredited by the ICO or equivalent will qualify. Most US fellows apply through the UCSF Match process at RSA Fellowship Network sites.

~ INTERVIEWS:  Applicants who are under consideration for a position will be interviewed in one or more sessions by one or more RSA Fellowship preceptors. Travel may be required at the expense of the applicant.
