We Welcome Your Interest!
The RSA Fellowship Network Program is now taking applications for the July 2022 start date for future RSA Fellows.
As you know, there are very few fellowships with a primary focus on refractive surgery, which is precisely why we have created the RSA Fellowship Network Program. The RSA Fellowship Network Program provides a “Two-Option” Program Framework for participants – a “Fellow” Option and an “Associate” Option. The “Fellow” option consists of a one-year, traditional fellowship format followed by an optional second year – the “Associate” year – working as an Associate in a host practice. The “Fellow” year emphasizes didactics and skills transfer and successful completion of the Fellow year qualifies the Fellow to indicate they have completed an “RSA Fellowship Program.” The “Associate” year (second year) focuses on surgical skills, formal business training and the additional broad range of skills required to build a refractive surgery practice . Successful completion of the Associate year qualifies the Fellow to be a “World College of Refractive Surgery & Visual Sciences” and to use the professional designation FWCRS.

Whether you have matched to a fellowship program, or choose to only make application to the RSA Fellowship Network Program, we can accommodate your desire to participate in a few different ways. The RSA Fellowship opportunity is outside the Match and is higher paying than most in-Match positions.
