We Welcome Your Interest!

Application to the RSA Fellowship Network program consists of three (3) stages:

~ Stage 1: Application to Determine Eligibility

~ Stage 2: Semi-Finalists: Submit Supporting Documentation, Additional Materials and Further Interview(s)

~ Stage 3: Finalist: Submit Any Additional Materials, and Participate in Further Interview(s) which may require a Host Site Visit.

NOTE: While some RSA Fellowship sites may be listed in the SFMatch program, others may not. The RSA Fellowship Program reserves the right to tailor the program to the preceptor and applicant’s needs and may not conform to the July-June calendar.

STAGE 1:

APPLICATION TO DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY

~ Rolling Application ~

Applicants may expect a response within 60 days of submission of application. Be prepared to provide all of the following:

~ Demographic & Medical Licensure Information

~ Medical School & Post Medical School Information (not transcripts)

~ Residency & Supporting Documentation Assurance

~ Disciplinary, Malpractice, and/or Criminal Matters

~ Personal Statement of Intent & Aspirations (500 Word Max)

~ Payment of $100.00 USD Application Fee

STAGE 2:

SEMI-FINALIST

~ Rolling Reviews ~

Candidates who are selected to be “Semi-Finalists” will be required to participate in an in-person or web-based interview(s) and to submit further documentation.

~ Three (3) Letters of Reference

~ Two (2) Unedited Recent Surgical Videos of Your Work

~ Medical School and Post Medical School Transcripts

~ In-Person or Web-Based Interview(s)

STAGE 3:

FINALIST

~ Rolling Acceptances ~

Candidates who are deemed eligible as “Finalists” will be notified on a rolling basis. Finalists are further required to participate in an in-person or web-based interview(s), submit any further documentation, and may be required to visit a Host Site. The following should be expected at a minimum:

~ In-Person or Web-Based Interview(s)

~ Additional Documentation (if required)

~ Host Site Visit (if required)

RSA Fellowship Network contracts, including the finalist’s location preferences, must be provisionally executed and received by the RSA Administrator as directed in your correspondence.
